Hello girls! Kristin brought up a very good event that is happening this week. Atlanta Intown Georgia Tech Club will be hosting a panel called *The Balanced Woman*this *Thursday, April 14th* from *6:00 to 7:30pm* at the *LeCraw Auditorium in the College of Management*. The speakers at the event will be there to share their stories of how they learned to juggle successful careers and families. They will be: - Heather Rocker, Executive Director for Women in Technology - Kelly Barrett, VP of Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance at The Home Depot - Valerie Vargas, VP of Consumer Advertising at AT&T - Debora Wilson, Former CEO and President of The Weather Channel - Sallie Graves, SVP, Head of Insurance and Distributor Service IT at ING RSVP at http://thebalancedwoman.eventbrite.com. Don't forget to RSVP for the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Georgia Awards Reception on Sunday, April 17th. Aspirations in Computing recognizes 9th-12th grade females for their computing-related achievements and interests. This year, the College of Computing is sponsoring the Georgia Regional Awards. We received an overwhelming number of applications and have selected 15 winners along with 32 runner-ups. The reception and awards ceremony will take place from 2:00pm-4:30pm. Below is a list of recipients, as well as a brief schedule for the program. I hope that all of you will consider participating. It is only three hours of your morning to help clean up Tech (or in our case, spread wood chips). [UWAB] Tech Beautification Day

Hello girls! I hope all of you had a very restful spring break. I am emailing you to tell you that Women@CC is going to be participating in Tech Beautification Day this year! It will be during the morning of *Saturday, April 9th*. It is a great opportunity to meet up with Women@CC members outside of our regular meetings and to also give back to Tech. This year, we will be running our own group, but this means I will need your help. [UWAB] CoCaesar's Outcome

Hello girls! I hope that all of you are having a great spring break. I wanted to congratulate and thank those who helped out with CoCaesar's. Our sign up sheet said 202 people attended, but I know that many members, including me, were not able to sign the sheet. Even so, that is an amazing number! I have received so much positive feedback about the event from both students and faculty and, to summarize, you guys rock! We would not have been able to accomplish all that we did without our members helping out before, during, and after the event. I was really honored to work with all of you. [UWAB] CoCaesar's is Tomorrow!

Hello girls, I just wanted to remind you that CoCaesar's is tomorrow! I have a few notes for now until then: - Today, I will be picking up food with Cedric at Sam's Club and Restaurant Depot. If anyone has space to hold things in a fridge or freezer, please call or email me at 703.927.4560 or lhuynh(a)gatech.edu so I know who to contact when we get back. We will be leaving around 1:00 to 1:30 and be back in a few hours. - Please come help if you can! We need as many people as we can for setup, staffing, and breakdown. - We will be blowing balloons with helium or by hand (if we cannot get helium) starting at 1:30. Klaus will be open at 3:00 and that is when we will start migrating supplies and setting up. - Throughout the event, I would love it if people could help staff places like the food and prizes stations, along with helping to bring food back and forth from the kitchens. You should have signed up on the swiki http://swiki.cc.gatech.edu:8080/WUAB/171 but we will definitely take those who did not sign up. - After CoCaesar's, everyone remaining should stay behind to clean up. The more people we get, the faster clean up is and the faster everyone can get back to studying. That should be about it. Get excited and advertise, everyone! We've put a lot into planning this. I want everyone's hard work to be worth it with a great event and a fun time. :) If you have any last-minute questions, please do not hesitate to email me or Alissa. [UWAB] CoCaesar's Food Storage

Attention! I would like to know who would be available tomorrow (Wednesday) late afternoon to evening to help take some of the food Klee, Cedric, and I will be buying for CoCaesar's and storing it in their fridge and/or freezer to bring to the event on Thursday. We are allowed to use Klaus' fridges and freezers, but I am worried food being misplaced even if we properly label them. Please email me if you are interested in helping out.
