6th International Conference on Robotics in Education

RiE 2015 - Robotics in Education

Final Call for Papers and Posters

1 week left for submission before deadlines : 1 March 2015

Dear interested reader and potential contributor,

Please refer to our website http://www.RiE2015.org? for details and latest updates.

      21-22 May 2015, Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.

RiE conferences have a history of previous successful editions which witness the continuously growing interest in educational robotics in Europe and world-wide. RiE conferences count so far 5 editions; in Bratislava (2010), Vienna (2011), Prague (2012), Lodz (2013), and Padua (2014). Accepted papers will be published with two goals: one is to become widely available on the internet, like for past editions; and the other one relates to usual ISBN-based, copyright protection.

RiE 2015 is part of the Swiss Robotic Days 2015, http://robots15.ch , with events in science, technology, arts, along with international robotic competitions, at Yverdon-les-Bains between 21 and 25 May, 2015, and benefits also from a sponsoring of IEEE Switzerland and of SGAICO, the Swiss Group for Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Sciences of the Swiss association for Informatics.

RiE 2015 aims at providing an insight to the latest state-of-the-art educational robotics to participants from both academic and school education. Sessions will be held on Research and Development as well as Components & Technologies, also Robotics in Production... Video presentations are recommended when they help presenters to offer a better understanding of robots, experiments and technical or educational practices. There will be also a poster session. We expect an exciting conference program, and cordially invite researchers and educators from the field of Educational Robotics to submit their papers.
The official language of the Conference is English; nevertheless, some contributions in French are also possible, in synergy with regional host situation.

We are looking forward to receiving your papers and to meeting you in Yverdon-les-Bains in May 2015!
