Hi all,
A new feature we plan to introduce at this year’s competition is
scoreboards for the fields. The scoreboard will show the game clock and
stage along with the two teams’ scores. To identify the teams, the
scoreboard will display the team names, and it is also optionally able
to display a team logo and national flag. Therefore, I need two things:

(1) Please check <http://robocupssl.cpe.ku.ac.th/robocup2013:teams> and
ensure your team name is shown with proper spelling, punctuation, and
capitals, the way you want it to appear on the scoreboard. If it’s
wrong, please tell me the proper name.

(2) If you want a logo and/or national flag shown on the scoreboard,
please send those files to me personally (not to the list!). You can
send one image (which will be shown below your name) or two images (a
logo and a flag, to be shown side by side). Your images should be at
least a few hundred pixels, so they scale nicely to the full screen.
Also, the background of the scoreboard is black, so if your logo (or
flag, for a few countries) is not rectangular, you should send me
either an image with a black background or, better, an image with
proper transparency information (transparent GIF or PNG with alpha
channel), otherwise there will be a coloured rectangle behind your logo
or flag. Preferably all images should be in PNG format as that is what
the scoreboard uses. You can send me other formats, but it would be
better if you convert to PNG so you can make sure the conversion comes
out right. If you’re not sure whether your image is acceptable, I can
put it in the scoreboard and send you a screenshot.
