[robocup-small] Start up soccer team (University of Toronto) looking for advice for a camera (AVT Guppie Pro?)

Hi All,

I am currently the team lead for the University of Toronto robot soccer
team. We are just starting up and any help would be much appreciated.
Specifically we are currently looking into cameras to interface with SSL
vision. From what I understand, the AVT Stingray is currently one of the
known cameras to work with SSL vision and I just received a quotation for it
that was about $1150 (CDN). This price is fairly steep and I was wondering
if there are any alternatives or any advice on what I can do to obtain a
camera so that we can get started. I have also looked into the AVT Guppie
Pro and it is around our price range and I was wondering if anyone was able
to interface it with SSL vision. Thank you all for your time and I hope to
