             RoboCup German Open 2007

     Co-located to HANNOVER MESSE 2007, Germany

The RoboCup German Open 2007 will be the sixth open RoboCup competition 
held in
Germany. The event will take place co-located with HANNOVER MESSE 2007
(http://www.hannovermesse.de) in Hannover.

Competitions in the following leagues are planned:
- Middle-Size League
- Small-Size League
- Four-Legged League
- Humanoid League
- RoboCupRescue Robot League
- RoboCup at Home
- Simulation Leagues (Soccer 2D, Soccer 3D, Rescue)

Please pre-register your RoboCup team to the German Open 2007 by 
completing the
registration form http://www.robocup-german-open.de/user (register).

The deadline for pre-registration is
*** December 15th, 2006 ***.

Details on the final registration and participation fees will be announced
after the end of the pre-registration period. The final registration period
will commence in mid January and end by mid February. Only 
pre-registered teams
will be allowed to register for the event. With the final registration 
you will
get access to pre-reserved accommodation in and near Hannover (youth 
hostels,
guest houses, affordable hotels). If you prefer to stay in higher-category
hotels (*** and above) we strongly recommend to reserve accommodation on 
your
own as soon as possible.

The RoboCupJunior competition in Hannover is restricted to German teams. 
They
have to qualify for participation in the RoboCup German Open in regional 
events
held in Magdeburg (February, 23rd-25th) and Vöhringen (March, 2nd-4th). 
Details
and a call for participation for these qualifying events will be issued
separately.

See you all again at the RoboCup German Open 2007 - now embedded in a 
new and
exciting setting, the largest industrial show worldwide!
