RoboCup 2019 Reporters

In cooperation with AIhub, the RoboCup Federation is looking for volunteers to report from RoboCup 2019 in Sydney.

This a great opportunity to improve your communication skills, raise your profile, and improve your CV. It's also an excellent way to show the world what RoboCup is all about.

As a RoboCup Reporter and AIhub ambassador you will be expected to attend a short online crash course in science communication. You will then be assigned a focus based on your current interests. Examples include

  * key scientific and/or technological achievements made within a league,
  * interviewing teams (written, or video),
  * capturing quick videos explaining a technology,
  *   live tweeting the event,
  *   preparing a photo essay,
  * providing a daily scoreboard, or
  * giving your overall impression of the competition as a participant.
We are of course open to other ideas - the goal is to keep this simple and fun.

If you're interested in this opportunity, or have questions, please email Sabine Hauert <sabine.hauert at robohub.org<mailto:sabine.hauert at robohub.org>> and Oskar von Stryk <stryk at sim.tu-darmstadt.de<mailto:stryk at sim.tu-darmstadt.de>> soon and ideally by not later than Wednesday, June 19th.

Cheers,
Maike (for the HL Executive Committee)
