@Michael: Thanks a lot for transfering the Word document
into LaTeX!!

I just finished proof-reading through the above draft,
found some typos from the transfer from Word to LaTeX
and also some important inconsistencies with the decisions in the
team leader meeting in Graz (which already had been posted
in September on the mailing list, please check these postings!).

The accordingly updated version is now available (as usual)
from the download section of the HL home page
http://www.tzi.de/humanoid/bin/view/Website/Downloads

Changes in rules from 2009 to 2010 are marked in green text color.

The modifications to the draft of Dec 22 include:
- field size description corrected,
- new goal description corrected,
- new landmark pole description corrected,
- weight restriction for TeenSize added,
- foot size unchanged from 2009 to 2010,
will be reduced further from 2010 to 2011,
- number of cameras limited to two,
- procedure for kick-off with ready-set-play signals
as needed for the use of the game controller/referee box
and as practiced this year although not yet explicitly
mentioned in the rules and a suggestion for foul
 	and misconduct during kick-off procedure,
- The proposed replacements of indirect free kicks
by 30s removal penalty are moved
from the description of fouls in Sects. 12.1 - 12.3 to
the penalties for fouls in Sect. 12.4.
This simplifies the maintaining of rules if
in future years the robots are better able to
 	perform indirect free kicks.

Any exceptions from the replacement of an indirect free kick
by a time removal penalty should be named explicitly.

- Proposal to determine best humanoid from the three
teams ranked first in the Kid-, Teen-, and AdultSize.

Please carefully proofread the rule draft and report any typos or
bugs.

Later on we will incorporate are more detailed description
of the new goal layout (as it was contained in the 2009 rule book).
Also the appendix for rule evolution will added again
as well as a keyword index.

With best regards,
Oskar von Stryk
