Btw, a _very_ important step would be sparse matrix file reading... I've made some workaround for my tests, and even have an idea how to gracefully plug into existing loading paradigm - with variants :-) `boost::variant` or `std::variant`. But that's a quite an effort, and - more importantly - a change on many places, so I've avoided undertaking the task.
