 Hi Ryan,

 I have completed most of what you mentioned in your comment. I didn't get
 time to write tests for the program, I will be looking into the BOOST test
 framework soon. I have attached all the code files as a tarball called
 'changes1.tar.gz'. Please review the changes, and suggest other
 improvements if any.
