Romulus Capital Innovation Fellowship Info Session!

Monday, September 14th
8-9pm

Romulus Capital is an early-stage venture capital fund founded out of MIT which has now invested over $250M in entrepreneurs from campuses such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and Cambridge.

The Romulus Capital Innovation Fellowship (RCIF) is a one-semester mentorship program that selects 10-12 high potential candidates to get hands-on venture capital experience in the world of innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.

RCIFs work alongside active venture capitalists at Romulus Capital across different fields (e.g. healthcare, consumer, construction, manufacturing, software) to investigate if an innovative idea, technology, or startup deserves funding. Time commitment is about 5-10 hours per week. Top performers at the end of the fellowship are invited to join Romulus Capital for a paid summer internship and potential long-term role. Almost all of Romulus Capital's associates have been from past iterations of the program.

All are welcome to apply and you do not need prior experience in finance or tech. Romulus Capital is looking for innovative candidates with a curiosity about the world of tech and creativity to imagine new ideas. Attend the Romulus Capital information session to learn more! A session recording will be uploaded on the same link afterwards.

Virtual Airbnb Events!

September 19th: New Grad Fireside Chat

October 13th: Accessibility Tech Talk

Airbnb is hosting two virtual events and is inviting members of W at CC to attend! At the New Grad Fireside Chat, get to know what our new grads have been up to and how they’ve responded to COVID-19, changes in the travel industry, and Airbnb’s evolution in the past few months. At the Accessibility Tech Talk, learn how Airbnb works on enabling accessibility on their platform and in real life communities, as Airbnb works to build belonging for everyone.

In full transparency, Airbnb is currently not actively hiring for the 2021 summer, so these events serve as learning opportunities for you to grow and expand your perspectives. However, Airbnb will be recording interest in 2022 SWE + Data Science roles so you can be first in line to learn more and apply when the time comes!
