VMware scholarships support and encourage students in the technology industry as they work to achieve their educational goals and rise as future innovators. Selected recipients will be awarded in recognition of their demonstrated academic excellence, passion for technology, leadership, and community involvement.

The VMware Achieve scholarship provides a one-time, $10,000 USD tuition award to a female student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related.
Applicants must identify as female and be currently enrolled in a US based accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.4.

The VMware Rise Scholarship provides a one-time, $5,000 USD tuition award to two students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related.
Applicants must identify with one or more underrepresented minority groups and be currently enrolled in a US based accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0

VMware CodeHouse Atlanta - August 1-4, 2020

Join a team of women who are ready to make an impact and tackle a technical challenge that engages and gives back to the community. Experience VMware’s Atlanta office, network with industry leaders and exchange your ideas with top technical minds at this multi-day event that is unlike any other.

Eligibility:
Traditionally underrepresented female students in STEM who identify as Black and Latina. Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Experience:
Invitation only, multi-day, all-expense paid coding experience for female students hosted at an executive home in Atlanta. The event will take place August 1st - 4th, 2020.

Female students pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
