A research team at Georgia Tech is conducting a study to better understand the motivations of technical women and how they think about Georgia Tech's Online MS CS (OMS-CS) degree program. They are looking for participants for in-person focus groups to be held at Georgia Tech during evenings in August. By participating in this program you will help Georgia Tech design better online masters programs that suit the needs of diverse audiences and contribute to fundamental research on motivating women to enter technology fields. If you are interested in learning more about the project please contact Dr. Betsy DiSalvo, bdisalvo at cc.gatech.edu<mailto:bdisalvo at cc.gatech.edu>.
If you would like to sign up please fill out this form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7W85V7Z
Some details: The focus groups will be held at TSRB, 85 5th Street NW in Midtown (just across the 5th Street bridge from the main campus). The groups will consist of 5 - 10 women with technical undergraduate degrees doing design activities and talking about what motivates or deters them from attending graduate school. We will have pizza, salad and some beverages for you to enjoy during the meeting.
