for papers, posters, workshops and </span><span lang="FR">special sessions</span></a></h2><p><span lang="EN-US">The 6th International
Conference on Robotics in Education will be held along with other events,
during the Swiss Robotic Days. Robotics will then be considered in a broad
spectrum, reaching from novel areas of science, trough technological
developments, industrial and commercial applications, all the way, to
entertainment, art and culture, including activities for the youth.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">A particular place is
allotted to education.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">The Robotics in
Education Conference is thus the framework for providing best science in
robotics, while addressing schematically two complementary kinds of
contributions: on one side on technical aspects and on the other side on
matters of pedagogy.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">Application may be
considered here for the whole educative range, from elementary school to high
school, college, university and beyond, for continuing education and possibly
outreach and workforce development. A particular place is given to robotic

<h3><a name="_Toc277860238"><span lang="EN-US">Submission of papers</span></a><span lang="EN-US"><o:p></o:p></span></h3><p><span lang="EN-US">Submissions must be
original and should not have been published previously. The official language
of RIE 2015 is English; French may also be considered in selected cases,
especially in synergy with possible regional contributions.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">All submitted papers should
include: Title of the paper, abstract, keywords, author’s name(s), speaker’s
name, affiliation, e-mail, preference for oral or poster presentation.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">Submitted papers must
follow the two-column format with single-spaced, ten-point font in the text.
The length of submitted papers can be max 6 pages including figures and
references. After the successful review process, the final version of the paper
(max. six A4 pages) is to be prepared according to the templates.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">LaTeX and Microsoft Word
templates are based on the </span><a href="http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html"><span lang="EN-US">IEEE Manuscript Templates for
Conference Proceedings</span></a><span lang="EN-US">.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

using Microsoft Word should use the <b>A4</b> template and follow the

of short papers (2 pages) reporting good practices and successful experiences
from educational robotics projects in the form of “short paper plus poster”.
The short papers (2 pages) will be included in the proceedings (format, as for
papers); the posters will be presented at the workshop during a poster session.
The format is similar to the beginning of a paper (title,
author(s)/organizer(s), contact information -address and email, and an extended

<h3><a name="_Toc277860240"><span lang="EN-US">Proposals of workshops and special
sessions</span></a><span lang="EN-US"><o:p></o:p></span></h3><p><span lang="EN-US">Proposals for workshops or
special sessions can be addressed to the co-chairpersons, stating the purpose,
intended audience and rough requirements in terms of infrastructure. A short
description, for communication purpose, should be provided. The format is
similar to the beginning of a paper (title, author(s)/organizer(s), contact
information -address and email, and abstract).</span></p><div><h3><font color="#3a88fe">Award for students</font></h3><p>Students (undergraduate, graduate, Ph. D.) are also encouraged to
submit papers. First, such papers will be reviewed like the other,
regular papers. Then they will be further evaluated and may receive the
award of “Best student paper”, along with 500 Euros in Prize money. In
addition to the regular Easychair process for paper submission (see
above), application for the student contest should be made by a short
e-mail addressed to the co-chairpersons.</p></div>
