<span lang="EN-US">RoboCup 2014 will be held in Joćo Pessoa, Brazil, from July 19th to 25th. Joćo Pessoa, located on the beautiful northeast Brazilian coast, is the easternmost point of continental Americas and the capital of Paraķba state. The city is a pleasant touristic place with a population of approximately 720,000 inhabitants. Joćo Pessoa is famous for its natural beauty, clean swimming water beaches and lively seafront, also known as the second greenest capital city in the world. <u></u><u></u></span></p>

<span lang="EN-US">The venue chosen to host our event is the Convention Center “Poeta Ronaldo Cunha Lima”, a building area of approximately 40,000m2. Major and Junior competitions, as well as the Symposium, will be held in the Convention Center Complex.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

The overall suggestion is to stay in this area and avoid to walk away from the coast. The RECOMMENDED<b> </b>hotels for the event will be along the Tambaś and Cabo Branco Beaches.<u> </u>All activities of the event will happen in these areas, from which there will be free shuttles to the RoboCup venue. Although you are free to choose any company around the world for cargo transportation, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. When you temporary import something to Brazil, you should pay taxes. However, as an event, we can have temporary admission through our universities/societies without paying these taxes. In this sense, we recommend to contact<i>Lauro Victor de Barros Despachos Aduaneiros Ltda</i> which is the the RoboCup 2014 official cargo transportation agency. The company is aware of all the processes involved in the temporary admission for the event and it is our proxy for it. They are a third party company specially prepared to deal with the particular conditions of RoboCup and they will provide a point-to-point transportation from almost all countries. Moreover, they can assure the delivery of your cargo directly to the venue on schedule if you follow the procedures and dates. If teams bring cargo through other companies, they would have to follow the traditional path, what could lead to delays.
