Dear RoboCup community,
[Please forward to anyone who may be interested]

I'm writing with a few small updates too the message below.

First, it is now official that RoboCup 2021 will be a distributed,
remote event. We have the beginning of a public website here:
       https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2F2021.robocup.org%2F&data=04%7C01%7Crobocup-worldwide%40cc.gatech.edu%7Cc9c94fee53e845a1fdd508d8cbbcd2ad%7C482198bbae7b4b258b7a6d7f32faa083%7C0%7C0%7C637483359132680783%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=R9xOKctz4o4tcCPqTA6guglNyhC5EbkSAtkdK8dA6gM%3D&reserved=0

There is now an event coordinating committee, chaired by me, that is
working closely with the full RoboCup Executive committee, the TCs, and
the OCs, to define the rules for each of your leagues. Some of the
leagues have already publicized the rules on the league mailing lists so
you can begin your preparations. In the other leagues, we hope and
expect that the rules will be coming soon.

To encourage your participation, we expect that the registration fees
will be much lower than usual. We will publish details on the website
as soon as they are ready.

Meanwhile, I'm pleased to report that following RoboCup 2022 in Bangkok,
we expect to hold RoboCup 2023 in Bordeaux. We are very grateful to the
Bordeaux LOC and their sponsors for being so flexible in these difficult
times.

For now, we hope that you'll all turn your full attention to RoboCup
2021 and help us make the event as successful as possible by working
within your leagues and your teams to participate fully in the event.

Stay safe and healty!

Best Regards,
     Peter Stone
     President, RoboCup Federation
