International Conference on Computational Creativity (ICCC) 2021

Call for Workshops and Tutorials
https://computationalcreativity.net/iccc21/call-for-workshops-and-tutorials/

The International Conference on Computational Creativity ICCC'21 solicits
workshop and tutorial proposals to be held along with the main conference.
We welcome proposals for half-day (3 hours) and full-day (6 hours)
workshops and tutorials on any aspect of computational creativity research.
Workshops and tutorials are a great opportunity to exchange ideas and a
chance to foster broader adoption of your outlook, system, or method.

We welcome a diversity of event formats, from masterclasses on specific
topics to peer-reviewed academic workshops to practical hands-on sessions.
Please feel free to contact the organizers to discuss these options. All
workshops will be academically self-contained: they should have their own
organizing committee and, where necessary, conduct their own peer-review
and publication process (i.e., prepare their own proceedings). Workshop and
tutorial organizers must also create their own web page according to the
Association for Computational Creativity. Like the main conference itself,
all workshops and tutorials will be held virtually, and the organizers of
each are responsible for managing their own arrangements and technical
requirements.

--- Important dates
Workshop/tutorial proposal submissions are due by Friday, March 5, 2021.
Potential workshop organizers are invited to submit workshop proposals
earlier than the deadline and request an earlier response to allow more
time to organize their own submission process.

Notification of workshop/tutorial acceptance will be made by Friday, March
12, 2021. Earlier acceptance may be possible at the chairs' discretion to
allow workshops a longer lead-time.

Note: all workshops should organize and manage their own paper submission,
review, and publication process, with appropriate timelines.

--- Submission instructions
Please submit a PDF proposal of no more than 3 pages outlining the
following:

. Title and theme of the workshop or tutorial.
. Description of your event's scope and its relation to Computational
Creativity. In the case of workshops, a description of the type of papers
and other works that will be accepted is required (feel free to refer to
previous workshop instances, including its past publications). In the case
of tutorials, please provide a description of the background skills or
knowledge that participants are expected to possess. All proposals must
clearly explain how the workshop or tutorial will adapt to the virtual
format of the 2021 conference.
. Expected duration, number of participants, format, and a rough event
schedule (an event can be a half-day or a full-day event).
. Any technical requirements that the attendees must fulfill.
. In the case of workshops, provide details of your timeline. In the case
of tutorials, please provide details of your expected schedule (topics and
sub-topics covered and their expected duration).
. Organizing committee.

Please email your submission as a single PDF file of no more than 5MB with
the subject "ICCC2021 Workshop Proposal" to
workshops-iccc21 at computationalcreativity.net or "ICCC2021 Tutorial
Proposal" to tutorials-iccc21 at computationalcreativity.net, respectively.

Cheers,

Dr. Caleb Rascon
