Dear RoboCuppers,

by now almost all of you coming to RoboCup 2016 will have finished
their preparations. Robots are probably packed or have been shipped
already some time ago. Your are ready to go and some of you may already
head for flights in a few hours.
On behalf of all members of the LOC, I wish you bon voyage!
Have a safe trip to Leipzig!

At this point, I would like to ask you for contributions to the walk of
fame.
As you, we will have the 20th RoboCup this year, and we organized a special
exhibition space where we present items to memorize the past 20 years,
We already have an interesting collection of items, but we would like to
make it a "living exhibition", where some items may be changed and replaced
every day.
I would greatly appreciate if you could devote a few minutes of your time
and check whether you could contribute any of the following items.

- Posters:
Maybe you still have a poster of a previous event or an interesting
poster you made about a past RoboCup?
  Please bring it with you!
You will get them back or you can donate it to a museum.

- Photo images:
If you have digital photo images from past RoboCups and are willing to
share them, please send them to me by email attachment, or send me a
link from where I can download them.

- Videos:
If you have videos about former RoboCups, please share them with us.
Let us know about the videos and where we can download them, or
whether there is some other way of accessing them.

- Items and Gadgets:
If you still have a ball that was used in the past, a T-shirt, a coffee
mug, a participant booklet, a badge or any other item of former RoboCups,
  please bring them with you.
You will get them back or you can donate it to a museum.

- Robots:
We are also interested in robots used in former RoboCups.
You may have some old robots still stacked away in some corner
or about to be discarded. Please do not! The museum we collaborate
with is highly interested to collect such items, even if they are not
functional any more. If they look old and "used", even better.

If you can still bring or provide a few of the above items, this
would be really great. I will have aperson in charge who will be
on-site and receive your loaned or donated items.
If you loan us items, we will give them back to you on symposium day.
If you donate it to the museum, the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum in Paderborn,
we will ensure transport and delivery after the event.

I hope you can still help us to preserve the RoboCup history.
Your cooperation is very much appreciated.

Best regards,
Gerhard Kraetzschmar
