[robocup-worldwide] Second Call For Participation, Soccer 2D simulation

Introduction:

The RoboCup 2D Simulated Soccer League is the oldest of the RoboCup
Soccer Simulation Leagues. It is based on the RoboCup Soccer Simulator
that enables two teams of 11 simulated autonomous robots plus an
autonomous coach agent to play a game of soccer with very realistic
rules and game play. Due to its stability the RoboCup Soccer Simulator
is a very good research and educational tool for multi-agent systems,
artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The 11th RoboCup IranOpen competitions will be held in April 04-08, 2016.
We would like to invite you to participate in the RoboCup IranOpen 2016
Soccer 2D
Simulation League competition.


Schedule:

Team Pre-Registration Deadline: February 4, 2016 - 23:59 UTC (extended)
Materials Submission Deadline: ​February 4, 2016 - 23:59 UTC (extended)
Qualification Process: ​February 01-19, 2016
Competitions: April 04-08, 2016


Participation:

All teams are required to pre-register through the online form available on
the website <http://2016.iranopen.ir/>. The pre-registered teams should
then submit the relevant qualification materials. It's possible to
participate remotely in this competition for those who can't be with us.



Qualification Materials:

Team Description Paper
Executable binary files compressed in one archive file.
Log files (1 to 5) showing the team's game play quality and an appendix
that describes them.
Team's source code files compressed in one archive file.
All teams should have significant scientific effort on their bases (if any).

Teams should send their qualification materials via email to
soccersim2d at gmail.com before February 5. The subject of email should be
"Qualification Materials - TEAMNAME". Please attach all the files to a
single email.After sending your qualification materials, you will receive a
confirmation email. If you did not receive it within 72 hours, please
contact the technical committee.
