Objective
The objective of the Special Session is to inspire new research and
development
directions by discussing intelligent techniques for facilitating
smarter robot operating systems.

Topics
Any work related to robot operating systems is welcome. Especially
papers that use following concepts with or within robot operating
systems are welcome:

  * AI techniques
  * Soft computing techniques
  * Distributed/interactive OS
  * Parallel OS
  * On board application development
  * Simulators or emulators
  * Cognitive Robot OS
  * Robot OS optimized for specific Robotic Architectures
  * Robot OS for miniature robots
  * Adjustable Autonomy Support in Robot OS
  * Applications of Software Engineering techniques to Robot OS

Dates
Paper Submissions – November 12, 2010
Acceptance Decision – January 10, 2011
Camera Ready version – February 1, 2011


Submission
Please submit your paper in LNAI format using EacyChair system of IEA/AIE
2011. Please be sure to select the special track (Robot Operating Systems)

Publication
Each submitted paper will first be evaluated by at least 3 referees.
The top-ranked papers will be accepted for presentation.
Registered papers will be published in the main conference proceedings
