In the field of innovative software technologies, the German Research
Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) is the leading research
institution in Germany, and in the international science community the
DFKI ranks among the most important "Centers of Excellence" worldwide.

Within research projects at DFKI Bremen there are open positions for
Researchers in Space Robotics.

Candidates applying for this position will have the opportunity to work
in experimental studies and modelling of mobile robot-terrain
interaction in a real-time virtual lunar test bed.

The following skills and interests are expected for this position:

* Physically and mathematically based modelling of dynamic systems
* Methods of experimental testing and measurement of mechanical properties
* Experience in MATLAB and C++

There is the possibility for MSc to prepare a PhD thesis in that time frame.

The DFKI Robotics Laboratory offers a competitive salary and the
