The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Lawrence Technological
University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track
Postdoctoral Instructor and Robotics Program Coordinator for the academic
year 2008-2009. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and/or
graduate level courses in autonomous robotics, coordinate and work closely
with students and teachers in preparation for robotics contest such as
Robofest (www.robofest.net <http://www.robofest.net/> ). Applicants should
have a Ph.D. in Computer Science and considerable experience programming
autonomous robots such as AIBO, Nao, etc. Exceptional candidates can apply
for a tenure track faculty position for the following year. Candidates
should send (1) a curriculum vitae, (2) a statement indicating an
understanding of how autonomous robotics can be used to improve teaching,
(3) a description of research, and (4) arrange for three letter of
recommendation to be sent to the following address. This position is
immediately available.
