Aims and scope
Nowadays, the simulation technologies are playing an important role in the
fields of robotics, aircraft, movie industries and so on. The simulation on
robots and environments decreases the cost of the studies and accelerates
the development, but seamless migration from simulators to real world
systems is still difficult because of the complexity of robot, environment,
sensors and actuators modeling. In the workshop, we¡¯d like to provide a
venue where researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout
the world can come together to present and discuss the latest achievements,
future challenges and exciting applications for mixed virtual with reality.
Topics
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that demonstrate current
research in all areas of robotics simulation. The workshop solicits novel
papers on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

Paper submission and publication
The papers are limited to 8 pages each and they must follow the IEEE
8.5"x11" two-column format guidelines described at
http://www.computer.org/portal/pages/cscps/cps/cps_forms.html. Workshop
papers will be included in CW2008 proceedings published by IEEE Computer
Society. The papers will also be available electronically in the IEEE
digital library. The paper has to be submitted via online submission system.
Selected best papers, after extension, will be published in a suitable
international journal as a special issue.
