Time for Final Registration for RoboCup 2008 US Open!

It now time for your teams and individuals to complete the Final
registration forms for RoboCup 2008 US Open, May 24-27, to be held at:

Carnegie Science Center
One Allegheny Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-5850,
www.carnegiesciencecenter.org.


REGISTRATION



The registration forms are on the RoboCup 2008 website, www.robocup-us.org.



These forms need to be filled out and sent back by April 15, 2008 to the
address or fax on the form. We will accept later and online registration of
more team members, but not additional teams. Registration after April 15
will cost 20% more. Team registration and individual participant
registration are separate. Each team should fill out a team form, and in
addition, each human member of a team should fill out a human registration
form. Team registration fees cover the costs of competition fields,
lighting, and security.



EVENTS



The events to be held are:

   - Small Size Robot
   - Standard Robot Platform, AIBOs
   - Nanogram Robot Soccer
   - Standard Robot Platform NAOs (demonstration)

SCHEDULE



The Schedule Overview is:

   - Saturday, May 24, 8:00 AM Venue opens to teams (closed to public).
   - Sunday, May 25, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Round Robin Competition.
   - Monday, May 26, 8:30 - 5:00 PM Round-robin competitions, banquet.
   - Tuesday, May 27 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Semi-finals and finals.

Registered humans will be provided a lunch every day of the event. A banquet
and reception are also included.  On the website you will find the hotels
close to the Science Center.
