Hi Mr.Raghunandan

I'm a member of Plasma-Z team from Thailand. Here are the answers ,in my opinions, for your questions
1. Almost all of the SSL teams use only 2 cameras, one for cover the upper field and the other for the lower field. You can mount them by using ordinary camera clamps.
2. I think the resolution should be at least 640x480 pixels otherwise you won't be able to detect any blobs since the images are too small. The frame rate should be at least 30 fps and the bits per pixel of eight should be suffice.
3. My team use cameras form Allied Vision Technology(AVT) and I think ther're quite good and robust.
4. If you use firewire cameras, you don't need frame grabbers, only firewire cards (IEEE 1394) are required.

Best Regards
