Hi all,
I'm new to Robocup, Osaka is my first Robocup. I enjoy it very much.
This is my opinion. (English is not my fluent langauge)

1. I think the game have to many stop. I would like game that have less stop. So wall is more presure than line.

2. Passing vs. dribbling
I agree with Oliver, when we have an 50cm rule, the robot should have more control to ball. Now, passing is difficult because, the robot can not control the direction to pass and cannot pass like human. So shooting the ball to the goal or to the side line(like american football or rugby) is saver than passing.

3. Speed and velocity limit
This is my first year. The special thing in SSL that I love most is the fast robot compare to the others league. I think slow down the robot is not leading to more passing. Because the advantage of passing in this size of field is to have more angle to shoot, slowing down is not get this point if we do not limit it to very very slow (to make the defending robot can got in position in time) but the very very slow is not prefer I think.

If we can apply 50cm rule efficiencely, slowing down the robot is not need. This will make game look fast and more passing.
But if we slow down the robot, the limit is to very very slow, if not the game may be the same as now (except for very fast team as FU-Fighter). That the very very slow robot is not preferable.

the last, fast robot that can play teamwork is prefer.

4. Vision monitor
My idea is use 2 team vision send the information to each other and referee.
Ex. If Blue team have ball and go more than 50cm. Yellow team will send signal to Blue team and referee, if Blue team accecpt, the referee is automatical send "STOP" and indirect freekick is gived to Yellow team. When both team think should "START", they send signal to referee and when both give start signal, the referee send "START" signal to both team.
Something like this. But if both team don't accecpt each other, the referee send signal by human like now and the past.
This idea may use to most of rule to make game faster, but some of rule must be give by human.
With the soft wall, I think this idea will work perfectly. Referee may not touch the ball so often in the game.
