Glad to hear we’ve got another team interested in joining up! To answer
your question, the referee box actually doesn’t receive vision data at
all. SSL-Vision sends vision data onto the network, and the referee box
sends its own packets onto the network as well (in the format defined
here: <http://robocupssl.cpe.ku.ac.th/referee:protocol>). Your own AI
program that controls your robots needs to receive both of these things
separately.

By the way, I don’t know if you just sent mail to the mailing list or if
you actually subscribed to the mailing list. If you didn’t subscribe,
you should do that because we’ll be making any relevant announcements
on here, such as rules changes.
