[robocup-small] REMINDER - SSL Pre-registration and Qualification Procedure for Istanbul 2011

Dear RoboCup SSL members,

The Organizing Committee would like to announce the publication of the
Qualification procedures and competition dates for Istanbul 2011. Below is a
summary of the important deadlines, and the complete procedure can be found
on the league web site, at http://small-size.informatik.uni-bremen.de/ . The
OC encourages all members to read the procedures thoroughly and strictly
comply with the requirements and date limits. Note that all dates are final
and similar for all leagues.

* Team Pre-Registration Deadline: January 31, 2011
* Team Qualification Deadline: February 28, 2011
* Team Qualification Results Announcement (by the OC): March 18, 2011
* Team Financial Support Confirmation Deadline: April 20, 2011
* Early Registration: March 18 - May 13, 2011
* Regular Registration: May 14 - June 17, 2011 (No team registration
accepted after June 17th)
* Late registration: June 18, 2011
* Team Setup: July 05 - 06, 2011
* Competitions: July 07 - 10, 2011
* Symposium: July 11, 2011

The procedure is mostly the same as last year, with two notable exceptions:
* Videos of competitions dating before 2009 will not be accepted;
* The ETDP, which is required only for the top 8 teams from 2010, has a new
format. The committees decided that teams should focus its ETDP contents on
the aspects of their systems which most contribute to the team's good
performance and/or novel contributions. More details are also on the
qualification procedure at the web site.
