Hi All Qualified team for 2009,

I send this email through the mailing list to ensure that all teams or at
less some team member will get this email.

Please check you team information and financial support status at

http://small-size.informatik.uni-bremen.de/robocup2009:teams

And continue with registration and VISA procedure as soon as possible.

Visa Application Process:

If some of your team member needs a visa to enter Austria
please have a look at the following page. The information
for which citizenship a visa is needed is also there or on
the continuing links.

http://www.robocup2009.org/124-0-visa.html

Please read and follow the information carefully.

In order to minimize problems in the visa application
process we do two things. For team members who are
registered and have paid their entire fee including the
team fee we will issue letter of invitations if requested
during the registration process.

Moreover, we are in constant contact with the Austrian
Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Once a letter of invitation
is issued the Ministry and the responsible Austrian embassy
is informed about the visa applicant. So you should be
recognized as a participant of the RoboCup 2009 Graz
by the responsible authorities.

We hope that this process will minimize the problems in
the visa process.

Cargo and Customs:

Information about cargo and customs issues can be
found at the following page.

http://www.robocup2009.org/123-0-cargo-shipping.html

We are also in constant contact with the Austrian customs in
Graz. They are aware of RoboCup and will support all teams
as much as possible. Moreover, they will get the information
which teams will participate in the RoboCup 2009 Graz
in order to allow them to plan their processes accordingly.

The best way to bring your equipment to and from Austria
is to use an ATA carnet. If you use this kind of document
you can minimize potential problems with the Austrian
customs.

Moreover, we have nominated a specialist of our logistic
partner as a contact person for you and the Austrian
customs for all issues related to cargo and customs.
The contact data of Thomas Ostermann can be found on the
above web page.

We will provide you soon the exact address you should
forward your equipment to. We will have some storage
area in order to temporarily buffer early arrivals or
late departures of equipment.
