For those of you who haven't left yet, here is the grouping of teams.
It was carried out using an automated program which generated the
grouping randomly. Teams were sorted into tiers based on past
performance and qualification videos, and within
each of those tiers teams were assigned randomly, with the only
constraint being an attempt to minimize the number of teams from the
same country in a group.
Group A:
CMDragons (USA)
RoboDragons (Japan)
Botnia (Finland)
Wright_Eagle (China)
B-Smart (Germany)
FURGBol (Brazil)
RoboJackets (USA)
Group B:
Plasma-Z (Thailand)
ZJUNlict (China)
EagleKnights/RoboBulls (Mexico+USA)
Strive (China)
KIKS (Japan)
RoboCats (USA)
RFC_Cambridge (USA)
Alternate:
ParsianRobotic (Iran)
Note howerver that we may need to ask a conditionally qualified team
which passes the test to move tables if the number of teams differs by
two or more (resulting from either non-showing teams or failed
conditional qualifications).
