** RoboCup2005 Committee NEWS No. 10 CORRECTION (2005.5.18) **

1. OPEN HOUR OF BUILDINGS & GAME SCHEDULE (CORRECTION)

The buildings of Intex Osaka open at 9:00 am, and close at 21:00 pm. 
Therefore, all the activities must end by 20:30 pm.  Games must finish
by 20:00 pm.  Because of a contract with residents nearby, any exception
is allowed.  In order to keep their living environment near the site,
your kind understanding is requested.  Making noise after 20:00 pm is
strictly prohibited.  RoboCup has become a large event, and it was
impossible to find the place without such restriction.

Audiences stay during opening time (10:00 am -- 17:00 pm).  Therefore,
it is requested that all the major games are played during the opening
time continuously as far as possible so that audiences can enjoy our
RoboCup.  It is possible to schedule minor games and meetings after
17:00 pm.  However, even in this case, every team must go out from the
site at 21:00 pm.

Points of Corrections:
  8:00 am --> 9:00 am     Buildings open.
  22:00 pm --> 21:00 pm   Buildings close.

2. ELECTRICITY

Electricity in Japan is 100 V AC 60 Hz.  The plug is the same as in US. 
Any electrical equipment including transformers, exchange plugs, table
taps, etc. should be prepared by the teams.

3. ACCOMODATION

TIP: The smaller value of the price range shows the price of ordinary
single rooms without discount in most hotels.  Single rooms and
double/twin rooms have very different price in Japan.  Sometimes a
double/twin room cost us twice as high as a single room.  Price of a
hotel does not change if there were a big event in Japan.  No big event
is scheduled during RoboCup, and RoboCup is a small event for the big
Osaka City.

There are only two hotels in walking distance.  You should use train to
arrive at Intex Osaka.
