<span lang="EN-US">ICRA 2011 in Shanghai will host a workshop "A New Generation of Educational Robots" on Friday May 13, 2011.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">This workshop will address new trends in robotics education and in education by robotics offered by the new robotic devices available on the market. Furthermore, the workshop intends to assess whether the education available worldwide is really suited to prepare a new class of robotic engineers who would not be interested in research alone, but in developing applications and service/maintenance facilities for new classes of service robots.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The organizers of the workshop (Erwin Prassler, Rainer Bischoff and Paolo Fiorini) would like to invite you because the RoboCup is a very good opportunity for student to face practical problems and to learn how to tackle them taking into account the technological constraints of a robot. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">In case you will not be able to attend ICRA 2011 in Shanghai we would be glad to extend this invitation to a colleague of yours, who will attend ICRA 2011 and who could talk on educational robotics. </span></p>
