                                  Rome, Italy

The RoboCup Mediterranean Open 2011 is an open RoboCup international
competition
following four successful editions of RomeCup (2007-2010) and RoboCup
Mediterranean Open 2010.
The event will take place in Rome and will include two leagues:

- Standard Platform League (SPL)
- RoboCup Junior (mostly for Italian schools)

as well as an open workshop, where team members will have an opportunity
to present their work.

In particular, for teams participating in the SPL the organizers will
offer:

- free registration
- prize for winners
- accommodation support (Fondazione Mondo Digitale will make agreements
to propose good deals in hotel, hostel for the participants)

Due to budget and space constraints, we will be able to accept only 8
teams.
If more than 8 teams will apply for participation, the Organizing Committee
will perform a selection.

Registration steps:

1) Pre-registration. Deadline: *January 31, 2011*
Send an e-mail to Luca Iocchi (iocchi at dis.uniroma1.it) with information
about
team name, affiliation, team leader and an estimate of how many people
will attend the event.
If more than 8 teams will apply, a selection procedure will be run and
selected
teams will be quickly notified.

2) Final registration. Deadline: *February 20, 2011*
Follow the instructions in the registration form available through the
web site.

Preliminary intention to participate, sent by e-mail to Luca Iocchi
(iocchi at dis.uniroma1.it),
are also welcome.

Looking forward to meeting you in Rome!
