The final layout of the new kidsize field is not yet available, but
should be announced in the next few weeks. It probably will not be the
same as Teen/Adultsize, but rather be more similar (or maybe equal) to
the SPL field.

We participated in the 5v5 exhibition in Mexico City and I recall thinking that our two robots (leaving the goalie aside in the box) would be insufficient to cover the ground necessitated by playing on that size of field.

In Eindhoven the teamleaders voted:

4vs4 games: 9 votes
5vs5 games: 6 votes
abstained: 2 votes

So we will have 4vs4 kidsize games in 2014.
