[robocup-humanoid] RoboCup 2010: draw of round robin groups, schedule of competitions

Dear organisers,
I am writing in as an ex-participant of RoboCup (formerly from Team RO-PE Singapore). I will like to express my disappointment that all the matches end by 6pm. As the competition is only open to the public on weekdays (21-24 Jun), it is likely that visitors are likely to arrive after work and be left disappointed at being unable to catch any of the matches.

I think the aim of RoboCup is not only aimed at spearheading technological advancement but is also an excellent platform to promote robotics and display your hard work to the public. It is also a great opportunity to seek funding for your research.

It is bad enough to have the finals and knockout stages on a weekday, let alone depriving the visitors a chance to view "the other World Cup" in action. I seriously urge the organisers to consider extending the matches till 7.30pm daily.

Please note that I am writing in on a personal basis and am not representing Team RO-PE or Singapore in any manner. Good luck to all the teams!

Regards,
Wilson
