of the Second Workshop on Humanoid Soccer Robots is fast approaching:  
October 31 (two days, only)!

The Second Workshop on Humanoid Soccer Robots
@ 2007 IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots (http://

As a part of initiatives to promote humanoid robotics research in the  
RoboCup community and robotic soccer in the IEEE community, we  
organized the First Workshop on Humanoid Soccer Robots in conjunction  
with IEEE Humanoids 2006 (http://www.dei.unipd.it/~emg/whs2006/ 
schedule.html). The selected papers are being reviewed to be  
published in the special issue on "Humanoid Soccer Robots" for the  
International Journal of Humanoid Robotics.

Following the success of the last year's workshop, we are pleased to  
announce that the Second Workshop on Humanoid Soccer Robots has been  
approved by the organizing committee of the 2007 IEEE-RAS  
International Conference on Humanoid Robots.

All the submissions will undergo a peer review process. All papers  
must be submitted electronically by sending via email to the chairs  
in PDF format by October 31, 2007. The maximum number of pages is  
limited to eight, including figures. All the accepted papers will be  
published in the workshop proceedings (CD-ROM). Selected papers will  
be published in an international journal (tentatively Robotics and  
Autonomous Systems).

Interested authors should send first by e-mail a paper title,  
authors, abstract and keywords to the chairs by October 15, 2007.

Important Dates:
Full paper submission due: October 31, 2007
Notification of acceptance: November 12, 2007
Final paper due: November 19, 2007
