Dear Humanoid RoboCuppers,

you can download the almost definitive rules for the 2007  
competitions in Atlanta, that the Technical  and Organizing Committee  
has been debating for so long at:

As agreed in Bremen we tried to minimize the changes to the rules.

The modifications wrt the 2006 rules are marked in the PDF file with  
a yellow highlight.

The principal modification to the rules are:
- Relaxation of body proportion constraints
(to include the proportions of some humanoid robot kits)
- Small Decrease in the foot size
- Only robots being able to walk at least from the middle line to one
goal line are allowed to participate in the competitions.
- it is not longer possible to score "accidentally" from kick-off or
free kick
- no goallie's leg splitting before kicking in PK
- no modification on robots for technical challenges
- rough terrain challenge postponed to next years
- NEW CHALLENGE: obstacle avoidance
- intermediate scoring in technical challenges (To Be Added Soon)
(as it has been done during RoboCup 2006)
- new organization of trophies
