</span>Hi Sushmita,<br>
<br>
Have you taken a look at these pages?<br>
<br>
<a href="http://www.mlpack.org/involved.html" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://www.mlpack.org/involved.html</a><br>
<a href="https://github.com/mlpack/mlpack/wiki/SummerOfCodeIdeas" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/mlpack/mlpack/wiki/SummerOfCodeIdeas</a><br>
<a href="https://github.com/mlpack/mlpack/wiki/Google-Summer-of-Code-Application-Guide" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/mlpack/mlpack/wiki/Google-Summer-of-Code-Application-Guide</a><br>
<a href="http://write.flossmanuals.net/gsocstudentguide/what-is-google-summer-of-code/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://write.flossmanuals.net/gsocstudentguide/what-is-google-summer-of-code/</a><br>
<br>
Between that and reading the relevant literature for the methods you are<br>
interested in, you should be able to prepare a good proposal.<br>
<br>
Be sure to focus on the API of the algorithms you want to work on in<br>
your proposal, so that they match the API of the rest of mlpack. Maybe<br>
this document would also be helpful:<br>
<br>

<br>
Thanks,<br>
<br>
