<p>Yep, this used to be used when we had <code>ToString()</code> methods but I removed these in <a href="https://github.com/mlpack/mlpack/commit/c673742c54e11f6846fc3faf95bbd19bd6044d2c" class="commit-link"><tt>c673742</tt></a> so I agree we can delete this now.</p>
