<p>It's okay, sometimes tricks are all that you can do. :)</p>

<p>You're right that symlinks don't work on Windows.  Maybe the best option, if you can't find anything else, is just to use CMake's <code>file(COPY ...)</code> function.  That should work on multiple platforms, and will be a bit quicker than reinvoking the compiler.</p>
