<p>It's okay, I'm happy to help. For what it's worth, many people do use mlpack in HPC environments without problems, but to some extent the difficulty is unavoidable.</p>
<p>In your first call to CMake, why did you export the variables <code>ARMADILLO_INCLUDE_DIR</code> and <code>ARMADILLO_LIBRARY</code>? Use the <code>-D</code> option to CMake instead, like in your second call.</p>
