<p>Hm, I think what's happening here is a covariance matrix is ending up full of NaNs.  I'm not sure why, but I'll look into it and see if I can reproduce it.  I'd suggest that maybe your GMM has too many Gaussians in it... maybe fewer Gaussians will cause this problem less often?</p>
