So, I fixed some bugs and implemented all your comments. I'm not sure if the `std::vector<bool>` code is simpler (or even faster) than the initial code. Some tests I ran gave pretty similar results, but that may be because of the parameters.

I tried to fix as many style issues as I could find, let me know what I didn't find because I think if you fix it I won't remember it for next time :)
