Comment:

 Thank you for the response.  I have gone with your suggestion and
 committed r16427 and r16428, which allow the user to specify when they
 want the incremental variance algorithm.  Can I add your name to the list
 of mlpack contributors?  If so, which name should I use, and should I link
 to an email or website?
