Comment:

 Unfortunately I cannot seem to reproduce this problem even with as close
 as I could get to your setup.  Because you're able to build using the
 current version, though, I think it's safe to close this bug because the
 problem does not exist in trunk (and therefore will not exist in the next
 release of mlpack, which should be in the next month or so).  If you do
 manage to reproduce the problem on a different system, feel free to reopen
 this and I will investigate further.
