 Hi,

 I am sorry, that I did not post the details in first place.
 I am building mlpack 1.0.3 on a Linux Mint 12 machine as well as Ubuntu
 12.04, both .
 Here are the specs for the Linux Mint machine (I can check Ubuntu 12.04
 later):

 cpu: i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz
 kernel: Linux 3.0.0-26-generic x86_64
 gcc: (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.1-9ubuntu3) 4.6.1 (from repository)
 lapack: 3.3.1-1 (from repository)
 blas: 1.2.20110419-2ubuntu1 (from repository)
 libxml: 2.7.8.dfsg-4ubuntu0.5 (from repository)
 boost: 1.46.1.1 (from repository)
