Comment (by nslagle):

 The Epanechnikov, spherical, and Gaussian kernels offer convolution
 integrals; most of the remaining kernels in the directory may or may not
 require convolution since they differ in usage.  The spherical and
 Epanechnikov offer up to two dimensions for now.
