Old description:

 To calculate least squares cross validation scores, we need to compute
 convolution integrals for the various kernels.  Unfortunately, these are
 non-trivial for non-Gaussian kernels.  As a temporary solution, we can
 provide expressions for convolution integrals for one or two dimensions.
