[UWAB] Fwd: Readers Wanted: Eve Ensler's The Good Body
Hey ladies -- here's a cool opportunity to promote body awareness through an awesome play/reading by Eve Ensler (the same person who wrote Vagina Monologues). If you'd be interested in a reading part, e-mail colleen@gatech.edu. See below for more information. :) Hope everyone is having a fantastic break so far! -- hp ----- Forwarded message from Colleen Petterson <colleen.petterson@vpss.gatech.edu> ----- Date: Wed, 19 Dec 2007 08:32:46 -0500 From: Colleen Petterson <colleen.petterson@vpss.gatech.edu> Reply-To: Colleen Petterson <colleen.petterson@vpss.gatech.edu> Subject: [wam2008] Readers Wanted: Eve Ensler's The Good Body To: Jill Barber <jill.barber@vpss.gatech.edu> As part of Love Your Body month, a month of programming focused on positive body messages, we will be doing a reading of Eve Ensler's The Good Body. You may recognize Eve Ensler from her amazing work with The Vagina Monlogoues, a program typically done during the student-led Women's Awareness Month. We are looking for student, faculty and staff (preferably women) who may be interested in reading a portion of The Good Body! The readings are relatively short, but all diverse in character. Attached are brief descriptions of the various parts. The reading will be on Monday, February 11 at 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Richards Gallery of the Ferst Center for the Arts. You would need to be available at least thirty minutes before each reading (which should last no longer than 90-minutes) as well as a brief, informal run through the week prior. If you're interested please email colleen@gatech.edu. Please forward this message to any woman you feel may be interested! We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you during Love Your Body Month! CP /"The Good Body/ began with me and my particular obsession with my imperfect stomach." Eve Ensler Colleen M.
