Just wanted to also send my encouragement for you to make that meeting tonight if at all possible. The bill that passed was for $1925 - that would just about cover the rest of our costs for the event!!! Good luck and thanks to all. This program will be so awesome! Hey girls,
The bill (with $$$ for the tent!) passed in the Grad SGA meeting this morning, barely -> 11 yays to 10 nays with 1 abstention!!! I would really appreciate it if as many of you can come out and support those that will be speaking on behalf of the bill at the undergrad SGA meeting tonight at 7:30.
Remember: we need both grad and undergrad SGA to pass the bill for us to get the $$$. Since the vote was sooo close in the grad house, I am real worried about tonight so I would appreciate you'lls support by being there.
As always, if you arrive and the doors to the auditorium are closed, PLEASE go around to the hallway on the right and use the back entrance- we all we be sitting together in the back.
Hope to see many of you there tonight! ~Mandy

I'm really sorry you guys but I've just found out that I have a doctor's appointment today at 10. I had totally forgotten about it until they called me!! I'd cancel, but they'd charge me since it's so late. And it's up in alpharetta, so I don't think I'll be able to make it back. Again so sorry! here are things for the meeting that I can think of....
Sabina - second batch of decorations hasn't come (the bigger one) so might want to call and check up on that or something.
Publicity - how's that coming? is someone printing the ppt slide to be a poster?
t-shirts - any word on how much? i emailed the guy but no response....anne have you had any luck?
See you guys Thurs.
-Brittany

I'm all for supporting our group, but I want to make sure you all know that you are not required by SGA to come to this. If you have other stuff to do, like you would have to leave work to come or you are really busy or anything like that, please don't kill yourself trying to make your schedule work around this. SGA only asks that one person be there to represent the group. Bottom line - more people present does not translate into more votes for a bill, it just means that those who are actually talking have a bigger fan club(and who doesn't want that?).
It's not that I don't love seeing all of you, I just don't want this to make anyone's life harder than it needs to be. For those of you who are able to make it, I'm sure it will be an absolute blast.
I'll see you guys tomorrow.
-Laura
PS. Same thing for the undergraduate SGA.

Hey girls,
This is a reminder that we will not be having a regular meeting tomorrow 3/8. Instead we will be presenting our bill to the Graduate SGA at
Please meet outside the large auditorium before 11am (we don't want to walk in late and look bad). If you arrive after the doors to the room are closed, please use the back entrance which can be reached by the hallway on the right of the room.
Hope to see you all there because we really need as much support as we can get so that we get our bill passed!!!
~Mandy
