Getting What You Deserve in the Workplace
You can be a smart, hardworking employee who consistently exceeds
job requirements and you still may not get what you want and deserve in terms
of job offers, salary, promotions, perks or visibility within your company or
professional field.
This workshop will apply psychology within the realities of the business work
environment. Attendees will gain insight on how their own psychology and the
psychology of female power influences their ability to ask for and get what
they want and deserve. The workshop will also provide strategies for
finding your voice and how to assert yourself in
crucial conversations in your career.
Prior to pursuing her Master's degree in Professional Counseling, Kalpana spent
over 15 years working in large and small corporations. She has held VP and
other senior management positions and has interviewed, hired and conducted
performance and pay reviews for many employees. She has also coached students
on how to get what they want during the job search process.
